Michael Watson

Michael’s background is as a chef at Casuarina Restaurant in the vineyards, then spending seven years as head chef at Jonahs on the Beach in Newcastle prior to opening No. 13 Café situated in the beautiful village of Lorn just north of Maitland.

Together with Vanessa, who is the most charming hostess, they have over twenty years experience in hospitality.

The restaurant is well known and well respected among the locals and was recently awarded 2008 – Restaurant & Catering NSW Awards for Excellence – Best Contemporary Australian Restaurant – Informal.
